Lay-lines palette<br />

Activate the function Lay-lines help to display the relevant palette.<br />

In the lay-lines assistance palette the following variables are displayed for each lay-line.<br />

• LayLines direction (LayLine1 - Heading and LayLine 2 - Heading)<br />

• Distance between LayLines and the ship’s position (LayLine1 - Distance and LayLine 2 - Distance)<br />

• Time required to reach LayLines (LayLine1 - TTG and LayLine 2 -TTG), calculated on the boat’s present<br />

optimum speed (taken from the current polar).<br />

LayLines Palette layout display's control:<br />

Layout<br />

• To show and hide the LayLines palette go to [Performance] on the menu bar and choose [LayLines<br />

Data].<br />

• To obtain the LayLines information in a form of "Menu bar" mode just double left-click in its title bar.<br />

• To return in a form of floating palette, just left-click on the "customizing bar" and then drag to new<br />

position on the screen.<br />

• To resize the palette horizontally or vertically hold down the left mouse button while moving the mouse in<br />

whatever direction.<br />

• Right-click in its title bar to change the palette display's mode. Three avamodes of display are proposed<br />

in the menu:<br />

1. The Degree of transparency ("Not transparent" or 10% or 20% or 30% or 40% or 50% or<br />

Text outline).<br />

2. The Font size (from smallest or smaller or medium or bigger and biggest).<br />

Right-click in its title bar for changing the layout, different types of layout are proposed in a menu:<br />

1. degree of transparency choosing from "Not transparent" or 10% or 20% or 30% or 40% or 50% or<br />

Text outline.<br />

2. font size choosing from smallest or smaller or medium or bigger and biggest.
