Software Options<br />

o If the " variable color for temperature " box is checked, each new mobile track is<br />

drawn in different colors according to the sea surface temperature. To associate different<br />

colors to a mobile track click on the settings button and choose a color gradient according<br />

to an interval of temperature.<br />

o This has two effects on the display:<br />

o The track is drawn in different colors and the temperature appears<br />

beside the target name (23°7c)<br />

o The temperature is also indicated in the Mobile properties windows<br />

Check the " Automatic daily saving…" box to choose how often you wish to save the mobile track<br />

(daily hour frequency).<br />

Then select an hour in the corresponding pop-up.<br />

When time for recording is arrived <strong>MaxSea</strong> automatically save the active target.ptf file as :<br />

Targets_YYYY_MM_DD_hh_mm_ss.ptf (Targets_2003_03_28_10_40_55.ptf)<br />

5. Mobile label<br />

Setting Up Text<br />

To define the mobile label displayed on chart select the most appropriate label under the pull down<br />

menu.<br />

Choose a label type between the following options:<br />

1. Name<br />

2. Call Sign + Name<br />

3. Name + Sea Surface Temperature.<br />

Select [Option: Text] from the [Edit] menu to call up the Text properties window.<br />

This gives you control over text by setting:<br />
