2D Bathymetric Maps
Here the "isobathe" mode configuration is selected to display the depth values and the "Depth Surface" mode
configuration is selected to display the "Roughness" data.
Note: the isobathes are drawn in black to distinguish them in "Depth surface" mode.
Only one type of representation ( "Isobathe" display mode, "Depth surface" display mode) is applied to only one type of
data value chosen between the depth,E1, E2 or seabed class data.
Creating Route From 2D Contour Line
Your MaxSea version has the 2D module, you can easily create a route by follow-up a selected 2D contour line on the
chart.
1. Display 2D view in selected Isobathe Mode in your navigation zone area (See related topic to learn more on 2D
Display Configuration)
2. Use the Right-click menu on a drawing 2D contour line to select it
3. Choose and click on "Create Route From Contour".
4. The route will be created along the 2D Contour Line with limits defined inside the zone area display as shown in
Fig.1. The Waypoint Route number depends on the scale chosen during action.
