2D Bathymetric Maps<br />

Here the "isobathe" mode configuration is selected to display the depth values and the "Depth Surface" mode<br />

configuration is selected to display the "Roughness" data.<br />

Note: the isobathes are drawn in black to distinguish them in "Depth surface" mode.<br />

Only one type of representation ( "Isobathe" display mode, "Depth surface" display mode) is applied to only one type of<br />

data value chosen between the depth,E1, E2 or seabed class data.<br />

Creating Route From 2D Contour Line<br />

Your <strong>MaxSea</strong> <strong>version</strong> has the 2D module, you can easily create a route by follow-up a selected 2D contour line on the<br />

chart.<br />

1. Display 2D view in selected Isobathe Mode in your navigation zone area (See related topic to learn more on 2D<br />

Display Configuration)<br />

2. Use the Right-click menu on a drawing 2D contour line to select it<br />

3. Choose and click on "Create Route From Contour".<br />

4. The route will be created along the 2D Contour Line with limits defined inside the zone area display as shown in<br />

Fig.1. The Waypoint Route number depends on the scale chosen during action.<br />
