Defining the automatic boat centering zone
The boat centering zone corresponds to that part of the screen that the boat symbol will not cross in Auto mode. The
chart is moved under the boat icon so the boat symbol is re-centered.
The automatic auto center settings will correspond with the direction layout of the chart display.
Centering on specific geographic locations
You can quickly move the chart to frequently visited locations by defining centering points.
To define centering points which permit you to directly center the chart on the recorded points:
1. Choose [Center On] from the [Display] menu .
2. A list is displayed in left zone area of the dialog (by default the zone is empty, see the related topic "Creating
centering points").
3. Select a location in the list
4. Click the "Center On" button to automatically center the chart on the chosen location.
Centering on Radar overlay location
As you do for the automatic screen centering you can automatically centered on the Radar Overlay zone if your radar is
turned on.
Click the "Navnet Radar" button in the chat toolbar and this function puts the chart in centered mode. If the chart was not
previously centered on GPS position, it is redrawn and centered on the chart in the radar operating zone.
When the Radar Auto Centering function is toggled On and the Radar Range is modified in MaxSea (under MaxSea or
NavNet), the Chart's scale will change.
