PERPENDICULAR and DISTANCE:
Automatically switches the destination waypoint when the boat comes passes an imaginary perpendicular line passing
through the center of the destination waypoint and when the boat comes within the arrival alarm range together.
PERPENDICULAR:
Automatically switches the destination waypoint when the boat comes passes an imaginary perpendicular line passing
through the center of the destination waypoint.
DISTANCE:
Destination waypoint is automatically switched when the boat comes within the arrival alarm range. For how to set the
arrival alarm, see related topic: Security Circle & HDOP.

Activating the automatic waypoint switching method:
Automatic waypoint switching methods
Waypoint switched at the Arrival alarm circle point (1).
Select the [Option:Route] option from the [Route] menu to call the dialog which allows you to activate the Automatic
Waypoint Switching method. Distance and Perpendicular are selected ON by default.
Choosing and modifying a switching method for each waypoint.
1. Right click a leg in the planning route and choose "Properties" for displaying its Properties dialog.
2. Click in the empty field according to the "Passage Mode" cell,
3. Choose a mode between Perpendicular or Distance or Perpendicular +Distance.
Waypoint Auto-Scale function
The Waypoint Auto Scale function allows the software to automatically change the chart scale. Change of scale occurs
when the boat gets into the Waypoint arrival circle.
