Weather Routing What Weather Routing is ? The two most important factors involved in achieving the optimum course are the weather forecast and speed of the sailboat. The Weather Routing functions are only available if you have program’s Weather Routing module is using a weather forecast and a Polar file together. The program incorporates routing functions, which allow you to calculate, with the help of weather forecast files and Tidal current, the optimum course for your sailing boat to follow in the forecasted conditions. The Weather Routing requires a weather forecast file and a polar file opened. You will learn in this section: 1. How to open a Polar File 2. How to open a Weather Forecast File 3.
