To do this, first select as explained in the above paragraph, the objects that you wish to transform. You can select either a<br />

single point or a group of point (for example a line).<br />

Once the object has been selected, choose [Change selection] from the [Edit] menu to call up the Modifying selection<br />

dialogue box.<br />

The dialog box consists in two parts :<br />

IMPORTANT<br />

1 - In the upper of the window you can change:<br />

• the color<br />

• the icon symbol<br />

• the line width (this is possible only if the selected object is a line)<br />

• the pattern<br />

1. Check the box nearest the type you wish to change<br />

2. Then select the new type you want to assign.<br />

3. Click OK to validate the transformation.<br />

2 - In the bottom of the window the Object type option allows you :<br />

• to transform all isolated points into a line or area.<br />

• to transform a line or area into isolated points.<br />

1. Choose the transformation parameters from the dialog box in particular the type of new object in the<br />

lower part of the dialog (a line for example).<br />

2. Then click OK.<br />

If you wish to transform isolated points into a line, take care to select points in the order of the required line.<br />

If you wish to transform a line into isolated points, take care to select a type of symbol icon.<br />

Copying marks and tracks<br />

You can copy personal marks (marks, tracks, etc.) or groups of marks.<br />

1. To do this, first select, as explained in the above paragraph, the marks that you want to copy.<br />
