Create or display the point or line,<br />

Double click on the point with the Select tool to display its Properties dialog box.<br />

Enter in a depth value in the corresponding text area<br />

Validate by clicking OK.<br />

Note: if you want to modify all the depth value for a line, click on the "All the line" button.<br />

You can add this new information to your database by importing the ptf file. (You must<br />

save the pft file before importing data from it.) For more information see Import "User data").<br />

Before importing "ASCII (*.xyz)" files<br />

The <strong>MaxSea</strong> data format:<br />

1. Latitude and Longitude are in decimal degree.<br />

2. The depth is in meters,<br />

3. By default the scale of import is 1/10000.<br />

The standard lines of this basic format will be: X Y Z.<br />

Each data field must be separated by a space.<br />

Note: you can change import data parameters, to do this you have to add information in the ASCII file header.<br />
