2. By proceeding in the same way as above select a "Prediction time" value. This value is going to depend on
that of the "Study time" value and can be superior to the defined "Time study" but should stay in limits of
coherence. (If the studied values are not enough to define a sampling prediction then a warning appears and
reminds you the setting parameters).
Example: "Prediction time" depends on the value chosen as the study so, if the duration of study is defined between 10
minutes and 33 minutes (with a step of 5 seconds for the data recording) the prediction time should not exceed the 30
minutes.
Display Characteristics
Select the corresponding check box to decide which curve will be displayed on the "Data Trend Graph".
The different curves displayed on the graph are :
• "Data Curve" drawn in red on the graph and which corresponds to a sample of historic data graphic.
• "Approximations" curve drawn in blue on the graph.
• "Prediction" curve drawn in light green on the graph and which corresponds to the tendency of variation. From
the sample historic data MaxSea is able to carry out the "Prediction curve" on the graph.
• "Trust interval" curve drawn in dark green.
To change the curve color you should click the pop-up menu situated next to the color, then a color palette appears:
