MaxSea Operator Manual version 12.6 230 Reduced Palette To switch from the "reduced Palette" mode to the "full Palette" mode and vice versa, click the special button : Full Palette Caution: The " reduced Palette" or " full Palette " mode is not remembered when you leave MaxSea. The palette is always in " full Palette " mode when you start MaxSea. "Reduced Palette" description • Upper left-hand the bathymetric color scale is displayed. • Below the "2D display mode choice" buttons and pop-up Button to display / mask isolines. IMPORTANT 2D Bathymetric Maps MaxSea displays the depth by default, when available the pop-up gives you the possibility to display the ground discrimination track and access the ground discrimination function. (for more information refer you to the Ground Discrimination chapter) NB: the Depth option contains DEM, Cmap or User data depth values. The values Min and Max is reminded, in fact, in the bathymetric color scale. It allows you to know these values even in "reduced Palette" mode. "Full Palette" description In the example, one sees according to the palette that the shown isolines is 600 , 800,1000,1200,1400 and 1600m. Upper right-hand of the Bathy Config palette, there are 3 small pop-up menus to select the interval of the depths on which the display will be based. However you can directly keyboard the data. if more than 100 isolines is selected to display, a warning is displayed. Otherwise, MaxSea may start to slow down, displaying Hundreds of isolines. 231
