Option Range Operation<br />

Gain level % 0-100 To Adjust the Gain value when working on <strong>Manual</strong> mode:<br />

Mode Auto/<strong>Manual</strong> - Cruising,<br />

- Fishing,<br />

- <strong>Manual</strong><br />

1. Click on the Gain line to display the Pop-up menu<br />

Software Options<br />

2. Adjust the range from 0 to 100% using arrows or modify it directly by<br />

entering the desired percentage value<br />

3. Press [ENTER] to validate.<br />

Adjusting the gain<br />

Normally, set the gain to the point where excessive noise does not appear<br />

on the screen. Use a higher gain setting for greater depths and a lower<br />

setting for shallow waters.<br />

To define the auto mode:<br />

1. Click on the Mode Auto line to display the Pop-up menu<br />

2. Choose the mode Cruising or Fishing as appropriate or <strong>Manual</strong> MODE<br />

to adjust it manually<br />

3. Press [ENTER] to validate.<br />

Automatic Sounder Operation<br />

Two types of automatic sounder modes are available:<br />

CRUISING is for tracking the bottom,<br />

FISHING is for searching fish schools.<br />

CRUISING uses a higher clutter rejection setting than FISHING therefore it<br />

is not recommended for fish detection - weak fish echoes may be erased<br />

by the clutter suppression circuit.<br />
