MaxSea Operator Manual version 12.6
A blue arrow is displayed under each mobile to indicate the depth position on the chart.
(Refer you to Trawl positioning chapter for more information)
3D Display Modes
4 display modes are available:
278
• "Normal Scene" mode: is the exact representation of the current chart window in 3 dimensions.
• "Extended" mode: extend the scene as far as the horizon. However, the chart will not cover all the
window and the extended parts will appear in gray color.
• " Sea Surface" mode: is an extended scene with a visualization of the sea surface. This mode is useful
to obtain a view of the sea level in the far parts of the scene, where the charts cannot be displayed.
• "Cube" Mode: this mode is strongly recommended to view the general configuration of the undersea
relief . This representation allows you to view the section of the relief inside a cube which you can manipulate
as you wish.
To change the Display mode, select it from the Display mode pop-up located in the high left corner of the 3D
