Unit Ventilator (UVT)SUPPLYFANHEATINGCOILSPACEThis simulation is the same as that described for Unit Heater (UHT),except that the unit ventilator is also capable of introducing a fixed amountof outside air during heating and operating an outside air damper for cooling(see SYSTEM-AIR and ZONE-AIR instructions).A number of optional features and control strategies can be specified forthis system. The optional features are discussed in Table IV.2 and the sectionentitled, "Explanation of System Options" (immediately following Table IV.2).The possible control strategies for this system are discussed in Sec. 8.5 ofthis chapter.
