Warning: When simulating a variable air volume system, thevalue of the THROTTLING-RANGE should be at least 4 degreesto insure stability of operation. This is especially truewhen a COLDEST or WARMEST control option in HEAT-CONTROL orCOOL-CONTROL is also used.The following three keywords are appropriate to the "zonal systems" (UHT,UVT, TPFC, FPFC, TPIU, FPIU, HP, and PTAC) only. Normally these keywordsappear at the system level but for zonal systems they appear also at the zonelevel. If no data are input for these three keywords, the program willcalculate their values, at ARI* conditions. At non-ARI conditions the programwill automatically use the default performance curves to adjust their calculatedvalues, unless,the user specifies his own performance curves (seeSYSTEM-EQUIPMENT).HEATING-CAPACITYis the total capacity of the zonal heating system (for HPand PTAC this HEATING-CAPACITY is at ARI ratedconditions). Note that the input value is a negativevalue. If the minus sign is omitted, an ERROR will occur.The program-desiqned HEATING-CAPACITY does not include fanpower and heat if specified separately (see COOLING-CAPJICITY).COOLING-CAPACITYCOOL-SH-CAPis the total cooling capacity (at ARI rated conditions) ofeither the zonal cooling coil or the zonal cooling system,depending upon which the user is attempting to specify.Note: When specifying COOLING-CAPACITY for packaged OXcooling units with draw-through fans, SUPPLY-EFF andSUPPLY-STATIC (see SYSTEM-FANS subcommand) should beomitted and SUPPLY-OELTA-T should be set equal to zero ifthe COOLING~CAPACITY being defined includes cooling of thefan motor. Otherwise, double accounting for supply fanmotor heat will be experienced. For better latentsimulation, the SUPPLY-OELTA-T should be specified and theCOOLING-CAPACITY adjus ted to descr ibe the un it -wi thout thefan. The program-designed COOLING-CAPACITY (for OXsystems) is at ARI rated conditions and fan power and heatare not included.is the sensible heat removal capacity of the zonal aircooling device at ARI rated conditions. At non-ARI ratedconditions, the value will be corrected for enteringwet-bulb temperature and outdoor dry-bulb temperature (orentering water temperature for HP).
