Thus, the fan coil, or coils, in one zone can cool at the sametime that those in another zone are heating, and changeover energy losses areminimal. Exhaust fan(s) are optional for any or all zones. Additionally,humidity control by subcool ing and reheating of air in the same fan coil unitis possible. Except as noted above, the discussion of system design features,options, and SOL input language for TPFC appl ies as well to this system.A number of optional features and control strategies can be specified forthis system. The optional features are discussed in Table IV.2 and the sectionentitled, "Explanation of System Options" (immediately following Table IV.2).The possible control strategies for this system are discussed in Sec. 8.5 ofthis chapter. It is highly recommended that the user read that portion ofSec. B.5 that is appllcable to this system.Table IV.12 shows the commands and keywords that must be entered forsimulation of this system, as well as those that are applicable but optional(i.e., program uses default value if entry is omitted.)IV.49 (Revised 5/81)
