OA-CHANGESOA-CFM/PEREXHAUST-CFMEXHAUST-STATICEXHAUST-EFFadditionally, outside air flow rate may be specified by dataentry for the keywords OA-CFM/PER and OA-CHANGES in thissubcommand, or for the keyword MIN-OUTSIDE-AIR in theSYSTEM-AIR subcommand. The program will calculate outsideair flow rate based on each entry and use the larger value, except that any data entry made for the keywordOUTSIDE-AIR-CFM will override the other entries and will beused by the program. Also, the specification of outsideventilation air at the zone level takes precedence over thespecification of outside ventilation air at the systemlevel. For additional dlscussion see Sec. D of this chapter.is the minimum flow rate of outside air for the zone. It isexpressed in terms of the number of times per hour that thisflow rate would replace the total volume of air in the zone. For a discussion of alternative ways to specify outside airflow rate, see keyword OUTSIDE-AIR-CFM.is the minimum flow rate of outside air (in standard, or sealevel, cfm) per zone occupant at peak occupancy. For adiscussion of alternative ways to specify outside air flowrate, see the keyword OUTSIDE-AIR-CFM.is the flow rate (in standard, or sea level, cfm) of directexhaust from the zone. This data entry can be omitted ifthere is no exhaust from the zone, or if there is onlycentral exhaust by way of the system ·return. Note that theSYSTEMS program does not simulate heat recovery from zoneexhaust, but only from central exhaust. Therefore, if heatis to be recovered, zone exhaust should not be entered butrather allowed to default to the central system. Return fanstatic should be adjusted, on a weighted average basis, toreflect zone exhaust fan conditions.(Note: The program will not allow MIN-OUTSIDE-AIR to be lessthan the sum of EXHAUST-CFMs for all zones divided by the sumof supply cfm's for all zones. That is, MIN-OUTSIDE-AIR willnot restrict the operation of exhaust fans.)is the total pressure produced by the exhaust fan serving thezone (for additional discussion see keyword SUPPLY-EFF in theSYSTEM-FANS subcommand). This data entry is applicable onlyif a data entry is made for the keyword EXHAUST-CFM.is the combined efficiency of the zone exhaust fan and motorat design conditions (for additional discussion see keywordSUPPLY-EFF in the SYSTEM-FANS subcommand). This data entryis applicable only if a data entry is made for the keywordEXHAUST-CFM. The program calculates exhaust fan horsepoweron the basis of the value of this data entry and the entriesfor the keywords EXHAUST-CFM and EXHAUST-STATIC.IV.190 (Revised 5/81)
