REPORT PS-C - EQUIPMENT PART LOAD OPERATIONThis report shows the hours spent in each part load ratio range, inincrements of 10 per cent. If equipment is oversized, the equipment willnever indicate any hours in the 100-110 per cent range. The TOTAL HOURS entry differs from the total hours in other reports. Inthis report, TOTAL HOURS refers to the total hours of the day during whichone or more units of a given equipment type are operating. This sum isindependent of the number of units operating. If three boilers areoperating during a glven hour, TOTAL HOURS is increased by one rather thanthree.ANNUAL LOAD is the useful load handled by the equipment. A FALSE LOADoccurs when, because of OPEN-CENT-UNL-RAT setting (the minimum load that acompression chiller can output without false loading.ELEC USED is the total electrical energy used by the indicated equipmenttype. THERMAL USED refers either to the fuel consumed or the heat requiredfor operation, from wherever it arises. If there had been more than one piece of equipment of the same type, staged for availability, the first line of values for each type is the hoursspent in the partial load ratio range for the available capacity. Thesecond line is hours spent for each type in the partial load ratio range forthe total capacity. Obviously, when only one piece of equipment isinstalled, the available capacity and the total capacity are identical.VII.I02
