If the user has not done so already, he should review the information onhis SYSTEM-TYPE in Sec. B.5 of this chapter. The user should thoroughly understandthe meanings of the code-words in Table IV.33 before specifying HEATCONTROL and COOL-CONTROL.HEAT-SET-THEAT-SET-SCHhas two main functions depending upon the type of system beingspeci fi ed.a. For systems that use the keyword HEAT-CONTROL (MZS, DDS,PMZS, and HVSYS), this is the value used as the supply airtemperature set pOint when HEAT-CONTROL is equal toCONSTANT. For DDS, MZS, and PMZS, this value defaults toMAX-SUPPLY-T. For HYSYS, this value defaults to theaverage zone DESIGN-HEAT-T when HEAT-CONTROL is equal toCONSTANT (and MAX-SUPPLY-T otherwise).b. For single duct systems (air-handler systems that do notuse the keyword HEAT-CONTROL) as well as dual duct andHVSYS systems, HEAT-SET-T is also used as the design mainair-handler heating coil exit temperature. This value isused to size this coil. If this coil does not exist, entera low value (equal to MIN-SUPPLY-T) for HEAT-SET-T. ForRESYS, SZRH, RHFS, SZCI, and PSZ, the default isMAX-SUPPLY-T. For other single duct systems (VAVS, CBVAV,PVAVS, TPIU, and FPIU), the default is MIN-SUPPLY-T(indicating no central heating coil).is the U-name used to identify the schedule for controllingheating air supply temperature when HEAT-CONTROL = SCHEDULED.HOT-COIL-SCH = SCHEDULE THRU APR 30 (ALL)(1,24)(120)THRU SEP 30 (ALL)(1,24)(90)THRU DEC 31 (ALL)(1,24)(120)SYS-l = SYSTEMKeyword = ValueHEAT-CONTROL = SCHEDULEDHEAT-SET-SCH = HOT-COIL-SCHKeyword = Val ueKeyword = Val ueHEAT-RESET-SCH is the U-name of the RESET-SCHEDULE instruction that definesthe relationship between heating air temperature and outsideair temperature, and specifies the days of the year duringwhich this relationship applies. This data entry is used onlywhen the RESET control strategy is selected (i.e., entry forthe keyword HEAT-CONTROL is the code-word RESET; see TableIV.33).IV.205 (Revised 5/81)·
