If the userspecifies a value for SUPPLY-DELTA-T, any input for thekeyword MOTOR-PLACEMENT will have no effect.SUPPLY-KWSUPPLY-STATICSUPPLY-MECH-EFFis used in conjunction with SUPPLY-DELTA-T and is defined asthe design full load power consumption of the supply fan perunit of supply air moved for one hour. The default curves related to COOLING-EIR(for commercial systems) already include compressor andoutdoor fan energy but not indoor fan energy.is an alternative to specifying values for SUPPLY-DELTA-T andSUPPLY-KW. It is used in conjunction with SUPPLY-MECH-EFFand 5UPPLY-EFF. It is defined as the total pressure increaseproduced across the system supply fan at design flow rate(see keyword SUPPLY-EFF below for additional discussion). Itis expressed in inches W.G. and its default value can be foundin Table IV.36, based on SYSTEM-TYPE. Design flow rate isthe user input value for the keyword SUPPLY-CFM (seeSYSTEM-AIR instruction) or if no data entry is made for thatkeyword, the tabulation of calculated (or assigned) flowrates for each zone.is an alternative to specifying values for SUPPLY-DELTA-T andSUPPLY-KW. It is used in conjunction with SUPPLY-STATIC andSUPPLY-EFF. It is used to specify the mechanical efficiencyof the fan when the motor is located outside the airstream.The SYSTEMS program separates the total fan efficiency intoits mechanical and electrical components. The mechanicalenergy loss of the fan is always added to the airstream.
