Similarly, for central systems, the value specified for the keyword HEATCONTROL determines the method for setting the heating coil (or hot deck)temperature. If the user specifies HEAT-CONTROL = CONSTANT, he should specifya value for HEAT-SET-T, or allow it to default. If the user specifiesHEAT-CONTROL = RESET, he must specify HEAT-RESET-SCH (plus an associatedRESET-SCHEDULE), and if the user specifies HEAT-CONTROL = SCHEDULED, he mustspecify HEAT-SET-SCH (plus an associated SCHEDULE). If the user specifiesHEAT-CONTROL = COLDEST, the program will automatically reset the heating coil(or hot deck) temperature each hour in an attempt to adequately heat the ZONEwith the "lowest rel ative temperature in its heati ng THROTTLING-RANGE". Th i svalue is also expressed in per cent (if this value is equal to or less than 0per cent, for anyone or mere ZONEs, it means that the heating coil will beoperated at its maximum capacity). Fig. IV.4 illustrates graphically how theCOLDEST ZONE is determined by the program. If conflicting input is specifiedby the user, the value for HEAT-CONTROL will always take precedence.HEAT-CONTROL = cOLDESTZONE AZONE BZONE C7372717171 ~70Heati ngSet Poi nt70Heati ngSet Point7069 ~6969~= 0\2 deg68 ~68HeatingSet Poi nt6767~= 17 %6- deg66Conel us; on:ZONE A is the COLDEST ZONE~ ~eg = 125 %e94-- :: Calculated ZONE Temperature'" = Top of THROTTLlNG-RAriGE~ = Bottom of THROTTLHIG-RMIGEFig. IV.4.Determining which zone is the COLDEST ZONE.I V.112 (Revised 5/81)
