In its mostbasic configuration, the system provides forced air heating from an airhandlingunit that contains a heating coil, filters (not shown), and a supplyfan. The amount of heat added by the zone coil is controlled from athermostat that senses zone temperature. The main air handler heating coilcan be controlled by various strategies or held constant in temperature (seeHEAT-CONTROL). The system may be specified to provide outside airventilation, exhaust air, baseboard heating, and heat recovery.A number of optional features and control strategies can be specified forthis system. The optional features are discussed in Table IV.2 and thesection entitled, "Explanation of System Options" (immediately following TableIV.2). The possible control strategies for this system are discussed in Sec.8.5 of this chapter. It is highly recorranended that the user read that portionof Sec. B.5 that is appl icable to this system.Table IV.18 shows the commands and keywords that must be entered forsimulation of this system, as well as those that are appl icable but optional(i.e., program uses default value if entry is omitted).I V. 7 5 (Revised 5/81)
