MAX-FLUID-TFLUID-HEAT-CAPWhen the unitary heat pump system (HP) is being simulated, the input for this keyword is the maximum allowable temperature(entering the heat pumps) for the circulating heat addition/heatextraction fluid. The program simulates heatextraction, as required, to prevent fluid temperature fromexceeding this value. The heat extraction component isspecified in a PDL instruction from the PLANT Program and issimulated by the PLANT Program (see Chap. V).This keyword is applicable to the unitary hydronic heat pumpsystem (SYSTEM-TYPE = HP) only. The input is the thermalcapacitance of the fluid in the system. The value specifiedis the number of Btus required to raise (or lower) thetemperature of the total fluid volume in the system (pipeloop and coils) by l'F; that is, the total mass of the fluid,in lbs' a multiplied by the specific heat of the fluid, inBtu/lb- F.IV.235 (Revised 5/81)
