VI1.REPORTSA. INTRODUCTIONTwo types of reports are available to <strong>DOE</strong>-2 users. Standard outputreports are available for each of the four calculational programs, LOADS,SYSTEMS, PLANT, and ECONOMICS (LSPE). Hourly reports that print or plotthe values of user-selected variables for particular hours of the year areavailable for the LOADS, SYSTEMS, and PLANT programs.1. Standard Reports. Each of the LSPE programs offers its own set of standard reports.Samples of these reports appear in the respective chapters of thismanual. Two types of standard reports make up each set,input-verification reports and calculation-summary reports. These reportsare designated LV-A, LV-B, etc., for LOADS verification reports, and LS-A,LS-B, etc., for LOADS summary reports. Similarly, SYSTEMS reports aredesignated SV-A or 55-A, PLANT reports are PV-A or PS-A, and ECONOMICSreports are EV-A or ES-A, for the verification and summary reports. Seethe discussions under Output Report Descriptions in Chaps. III, IV, V, andVI, respectively, for a discussion of the information given in each of thestandard reports available for each of the LSPE programs.2. Hourly Reports. In addition to the information g1ven in the standard reports, theuser may wish to know the values of glven variables for particular hoursduring a run. By using SCHEDULE instructions, he designates the hours forwhich he wishes the values to be printed or plotted, and with theREPORT-BLOCK instruction he chooses the variables, the values of which hewants to know. The HOURLY-REPORT instruction is used to connectparticular REPORT-BLOCK instructions with the desired SCHEDULEinstructions.Detailed discussions on how to use the HOURLY-REPORT, REPORT-BLOCK,and SCHEDULE instructions are in Chap. II. See the sections on theREPORT-BLOCK instruction in Chaps. III, IV, and V for a list of thevariables that may be printed, and their associated code-numbers, for theLOADS, SYSTEMS, and PLANT programs.VI1.1
