ENER GY -COSTspecifies a list, up to 25 values, of baselin·e energy costs(present value, in dollars) for each year of the projectlife. If the project life is N years (as specified in POL),the N values of energy cost must be given sequentially foryears 1, 2, ... , N.ENERGY-USE-SITE specifies the baseline annual energy use, in 10 6 Btu at thesite, i.e., at the building boundary.ENERGY-USE-SRCspecifies the baseline annual energy use, in 106 Btu at thesource. For example, if electricity production by a utllnyhas an overall efficiency, including transmission losses, of1/3, then 1 kWh (3413 Btu) of electricity use at the sitewould correspond to 3 x 3413 = 10,239 Btu of energy use at thesource.Table VI.2 shows what output report to refer to for values of the abovekeywords if baseline data are to be taken from a previous <strong>DOE</strong>-2 run.TABLE V I. 2OUTPUT REPORTS FOR BASELINE VALUESKeyword Outp ut Report Designation in ReportFIRST-COST ECOIWMICS, ES-B FIRST-COST (INCLUDINGINSTALLATION), TOTALREP LACE -COST ECONOMICS, ES-B REPLACEMENTS, TOTALOPERATIONS-COST ECONat'IICS, ES-A OPRNS COST - THIS RUN,TOTAL, YEAR 1, 2, 3, etc.ENERGY-COST ECONOMICS, ES-A ENERGY COST - THIS RUN,YEAR 1, 2, 3, etc.ENERGY-USE-SITE ECONOMICS, ES-C ANNUAL ENERGY USE - THISRUN, AT SITEENERGY-USE-SRC ECONOMICS, ES-C AN NUAL EN ER GY USERUN, AT SOURCEExamp Ie:BASELINE FIRST-COST = 63000 REPLACE COST = 28500OPERATIONS COST = (10100, 9300, 8600, 7500, 6200,5900, 4800, 4200, 3600, 3300)ENERGY-COST = (84300, 80480, 76900, 73400, 70100 166900, 63900, 61100, 58300, 55700)ENERGY-USE-SITE = 10120ENERGY-USE-SRC = 20350 ..- THISVI.11 (Revi sed 5/81)
