Damp heat remains the most important diseaseevil, but enduring damp heat may now have damaged theliver, spleen, and/or kidneys. Hence there may be liver-kidneyyin vacuity, spleen-kidney yang vacuity, or qi and blooddual vacuity. Because <strong>of</strong> the inter-relationships between theqi, blood, and fluids and humors, there may also be bloodstasis.TREATMENT BASED ON PATTERNDISCRIMINATION:1. SPLEEN-STOMACH BREWING HEAT PATTERNMAIN SYMPTOMS: In the early stage <strong>of</strong> this disease, there aremouth, eye, and external genital sores <strong>of</strong> various sizes whichare mostly painful. <strong>The</strong>se are primarily located within theoral cavity.
