For low back and knee soreness andweakness, add 12 grams each <strong>of</strong> Gou Ji (Rhizoma Cibotii)and Du Zhong (Cortex Eucommiae). For severe vacuity heat,add nine grams each <strong>of</strong> Ze Xie (Rhizoma Alismatis), Dan Pi(Cortex Moutan), Huang Bai (Cortex Phellodendri), andZhi Mu (Rhizoma Anemarrhenae). For concomitant kidneyyang vacuity, add nine grams each <strong>of</strong> Yin Yang Huo (HerbaEpimedii), Xian Mao (Rhizoma Curculiginis), and Ba Ji Tian(Radix Morindae Officinalis). Ifthere is low back pain, add nine grams each <strong>of</strong> Sang Ji Sheng(Herba Taxilli) and Du Zhong (Cortex Eucommiae). If there isnumbness and tingling, add 18 grams <strong>of</strong> Ji Xue Teng (CaulisSpatholobi) and nine grams each <strong>of</strong> Dang Gui (RadixAngelicae Sinensis), Chan Tui (Periostracum Cicadae), andJiang Can (Bombyx Batryticatus).
