If there is concomitant qi and blood vacuity,add 15 grams <strong>of</strong> Huang Qi (Radix Astragali) and nine gramseach <strong>of</strong> Dang Shen (Radix Codonopsitis) and Dang Gui(Radix Angelicae Sinensis).ACUPUNCTURE & MOXIBUSTION: San Yin Jiao (Sp 6), HeGu (LI 4), Zhi Gou (TB 6), Jian Shi (Per 5), and one <strong>of</strong> thelocal treatments described under remark #5 below.ANALYSIS OF FORMULA: San Yin Jiao and He Gu are a traditionalcombination to move the qi, quicken the blood, andstop pain.
