Formarked kidney yang vacuity, add one gram each <strong>of</strong> Lu Jiao(Cornu Cervi) and Rou Gui (Cortex Cin<strong>nam</strong>omi), powderedand taken with the strained decoction. For numerous red blood cells in theurine due to concomitant blood stasis, add nine grams each <strong>of</strong>Hong Hua (Flos Carthami), Yi Mu Cao (Herba Leonuri), andZe Lan (Herba Lycopi) and three grams <strong>of</strong> San Qi (RadixNotoginseng), powdered and taken with the strained decoction.ACUPUNCTURE & MOXIBUSTION: Shen Shu (Bl 23), SanYin Jiao (Sp 6), Guan Yuan (CV 4), Yin Ling Quan (Sp 9)ANALYSIS OF FORMULA: Supplementing Shen Shu, GuanYuan, and San Yin Jiao with moxibustion, supplements andwarms mainly the kidneys but also the spleen.
