Ifthere is qi stagnation and blood stasis due to wind dampimpediment, add nine grams each <strong>of</strong> Du Huo (RadixAngelicae Pubescentis), Wei Ling Xian (Radix Clematidis),and Cang Zhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis). If there has beentraumatic injury to the low back, add three grams <strong>of</strong> San Qi(Radix Notoginseng), powdered and swallowed with thedecoction, plus nine grams each <strong>of</strong> Ru Xiang (Olibanum)and Su Mu (Lignum Sappan). If there is concomitant spleenvacuity, add 15 grams <strong>of</strong> Huang Qi (Radix Astragali) andnine grams each <strong>of</strong> Bai Zhu (Rhizoma AtractylodisMacrocephalae) and Fu Ling (Poria).
