GOUT 2595. In most cases <strong>of</strong> gout, spleen movement has lost its harmonyand the spleen has lost its power to move and transformwater and foods. Fatty meats, rich-flavored food, andalcohol especially cannot be moved and transformed sufficiently.<strong>The</strong>refore, it is extremely important to regulate dietduring remissions, and diet is typically directly related toboth treatment results and recurrences. This means that goutpatients should avoid excessive fat and decrease their intake<strong>of</strong> such foods as animal liver, sardines, seafood in general,and beans.
