All <strong>Nestlé</strong> suppliers are required to adhere to the <strong>Nestlé</strong> Supplier Code (that <strong>in</strong>cludes<br />

environmental, societal, lab<strong>our</strong> <strong>and</strong> human rights criteria), <strong>and</strong> are audited for compliance<br />

aga<strong>in</strong>st the code as part of an ongo<strong>in</strong>g programme. If any <strong>in</strong>stances of non-compliance are<br />

found corrective action plans are put <strong>in</strong> place to resolve the issues. Term<strong>in</strong>ation of a<br />

relationship with a supplier only occurs if they refuse to comply with the audit process, <strong>and</strong> is<br />

does not process any animals.<br />
