Factibilidad y viabilidad de constituir una plataforma de acción social con…ABSTRACTThe practice of promotion of human rights in Guatemala, has been historicallyconditioned by political and social problems wich have not permited defendersof human rights a time to cease the defense, in order to propose something differentfor legitimate and frontal defense, in front of situations that put in risk the life ofGuatemalan population. In this context, the efforts of human rights organizationscome from specific joints, they are scattered and they do not have the expectedimpact.The situation of breaking-up the organizations of human rights in Guatemala isalarming and calls in the immediate time to meet around paradigmatic practices theisolated efforts of the Guatemalan society, to build a culture that visualize in humanrights an opportunity of development.In this investigation we are providing the elements for Guatemalan organizations,interested in articulating agglutinative fronts, the theoretical orientation andpractical conditions in which this alliance is viable and feasible. There are not realobstacles among human rights organizations in Guatemala to constitute a platformof social action. That’s why actors of promotion, education and defence of humanrights are invited to receive this report critically, and to open a space of discussionthat finds pertinent the intents of articulation in Guatemala, beyond incidentaljoints, which are the effects of a situation of structural violation of human rights inGuatemalan society.–171–
