He collected Aphididae and Paussidae on Celebes. His collection of <strong>Dutch</strong><br />

Lepidoptera (ca. 3,000 specimens from the vicinity of Roermond) was presented<br />

to the Nat. llist. Museum Maastricht, 1931. He possessed an unique<br />

collection of artefacts from the whole world. In 1953 an extensive collection<br />

of prehistorical and ethnographical material was presented to the "Museum<br />
