(Boekh. nr. 630). Is this the same cabinet?<br />

784. KALSHOVEN, Louis George Edmund - 11 Oct. 1892 's-Gravenhage - 15<br />

March 1970 Blaricum. In 1915 he became a forester in Central Java and worked<br />

at the woodresearch station and in 1921 at the Phytopathological Institute<br />

at Buitenzorg (Bogor), Java. In 1948 he was appointed Lecturer at the faculty<br />

of agriculture. In 1951 he returned to Holland and till 1957 he worked at<br />

the department of tropical products of the Tropenmuseum at Amsterdam.<br />

He was a specialist on termites and possessed an extensive collection of Javanese<br />

woodinsects and collected many data about their way of life and about
