27 Oct. 1794 a cabinet was sold at 's-Gravenhage by Abraham Gaillard, bookseller
(Boekh. nr. 630). Is this the same cabinet?
784. KALSHOVEN, Louis George Edmund - 11 Oct. 1892 's-Gravenhage - 15
March 1970 Blaricum. In 1915 he became a forester in Central Java and worked
at the woodresearch station and in 1921 at the Phytopathological Institute
at Buitenzorg (Bogor), Java. In 1948 he was appointed Lecturer at the faculty
of agriculture. In 1951 he returned to Holland and till 1957 he worked at
the department of tropical products of the Tropenmuseum at Amsterdam.
He was a specialist on termites and possessed an extensive collection of Javanese
woodinsects and collected many data about their way of life and about
