Company in Bengal, who returned 1715 to Holland.
He brought with him 400 drawings of fishes, called "Zeetoneel". These figures
drawn under his supervision probably by a native artist, served as the
source of the figures in the first part of the work of Louis Renard (q.v.):
"Poissons, ecrevisses et crabes ... " 1754, ed. by Aernout Vosmaer (q,v.).
