He possessed the head of a Mosasaurus hoffmanni, found by J. L, Hoffmann
(q.v.) in the lands of Godding. This head is now in the Mus. d'Hist. Nat.
Paris. A plaster cast is in the "Rijksmuseum van Geologie en Mineralogie" at
Leiden and in the Nat, Hist. Mus. Maastricht. His small collection of fossils
was visited by P. Camper (q.v.) in 1782, cf. J.G. Keup 1792, Lebensgeschichte
