chairs that constituted the whole faculty of medicine of this university.<br />

His collections were sold after his death on 16 Nov. 1739 seq. (Murray 1904,<br />

I, p. 146; III, p. 123; Dryander 1798-1.800, I, p. 224), and partly carne in<br />

the collections of Leiden University (van der Klaauw 1926, p. 1, 46, note<br />

8 June 1739 (Boekh. nr. 135). Often mentioned are the collections of drawings<br />
