Aug. 1951t Nijmegen. Schoolmaster at Enschede and Schayk, then teacher of<br />

biology in a.o. Schiedam. After 1916 he departed for the <strong>Dutch</strong> East Indies,<br />

and became entomologist at the Deli Experimental Station at Medan, Sumatra.<br />

TI1en entomologist at the Institute for Plant Diseases, Bogar (Java), in 1923<br />

sent out to Africa.<br />

Collected land- and water-molluscs and did malacological research. Many molluscs<br />
