ornithologist. Collaborator of Schlegel. Brother of G.M. and N.H. de Graaf<br />

(q. v.).<br />

Haghe 1937).<br />

"Het Valkenhuis" near the "Gevangenenpoort" was a falconry (Swaen 1937, p.<br />

13' 23' 91).<br />

In 1 s-Gravenhage were the cabinets of the Stadholder (see Oranje, Vosmaer).<br />

Near it were the menageries of the Prince (Honsholredijk, Loo, q.v.). Gijzen<br />

1938, p. 24: King William II kept a menagerie in the garden of the palace<br />
