(Lord) of Oudhuizen, "Raad" (Councillor) and Burgomaster of Vlissingen, Member<br />

of the Provincial States and of the Board of the Admiralty. Grandson of<br />

Anthony van Dishoeck (q.v.) and son of Ewout van Dishoeck (q.v.).<br />

His shells are said to have been to a great extent from the collection of<br />

Rumphius (J.R, le Tomlin 1942: Shell sales IV, in: Proc. Malacol. Soc. XXV,<br />
