He possessed a large collection of paintings and drawings, he also inherited
the cabinet of his father, mentioned by Seba 1.734-1765, III, p. 31 and Valentijn
1726, III, p. 561. It was sold 16 Aug. 1790 at Amsterdam (Lugt nr.
