He presented to "Artis" 4 Sept. 1879 an old collection (ca. 1740) of
Schutstal (q.v.), apothecary in the "Eenhoorn" at the Haarlemmerdijk. The
collection, which had been in the possession of Lacave during 40 years, included
several worthless remains of Seba's collection.

eggs, an herbarium, fruits, etc. 27 Nov. 1893 the collection was sold at
Utrecht: "Catalogus eener Verzameling van boeken en plaatwerken ••. benevens
het fraaye mineralen kabinet, schelpen, kapellen en vlinderen ••• met fraaye
kasten" (Boekh. nr. 3029a; notary H. W. Arentsen). Boeseman 1970, p. 200

a sale catalogue, 1782 Groningen, of his cabinet of nat. hist. Academia
