The University Museum for Natural History was housed in the ancient "Statenkamer"<br />

at the Janskerkhof. It contained the collections of T.G. van Lidth de<br />

Jeude (q.v.), N.C. de Fremery (q.v.), J. Bleuland (q.v.) and P. Koning<br />

(q.v.). Later on this collection was partly given to other institutes, but a<br />

museum with the remaining parts of the collection was maintained for the<br />

students. It was situated at the Plompetorengracht and opened to the public<br />

The Veterinary School was founded 1821 in the building "Gildenstein" and is<br />

now situated in the "Uithof" near Utrecht. The school possessed its own cabinets<br />
