1279. ROMBOUTS, Johannes Godefridus Hendricus - 26 Jan. 1818 Amsterdam (under
the name Romboutt) - 5 March 1889 Groesbeek. In 1875 he left Amsterdam
and settled at Groesbeek. President of the Dutch Entom. Soc. 1845-1852. Secretary
of the Amsterdam Soc, of Nat. Hist. "Naturae et Amicitiae", that
existed during 4 years. Together with J.J.F,H,T. Merkus Doornik he published
a "Flora of Amsterdam" (1852, 136 p.).
