2a.2) Peer Support<br />

Peer support was found to be the second most cited psychosocial event as to the experience of a pleasant<br />

work day in the log phase. Individuals expressed peer support as an area which could reduce everyday<br />

psychosocial stress in a number of areas. For example the chance to have clear and productive communications<br />

with peers as well as others providing emotional support to colleagues in times of need.<br />

Example response 1 (cartimandua): “Had a really productive discussions[sic] with<br />

me a lot of peer support”.<br />

sweet and understanding of the pressure I’m under – they’ve been<br />

The results of this second question from the log phase were given in conjunction with the question above. Of<br />

the potential 152 days worth of information, 145 were collected (95.39%) with 150 points made in total. The<br />

reasoning behind this question was to gain further insight into what was working well in the individuals’ work day,<br />

thus informing future possibilities.
