6) Focus Group Protocol & Results<br />

6a) IT<br />

Every individual who took part in the interview phase found IT systems and/or infrastructure¹ to be a daily<br />

problem, and it was also mentioned 21 times in the log phase, the second-most mentioned source of everyday<br />

stress. However, while individual felt that IT systems were a daily hassle they also appeared to know that some<br />

training was available to help improve upon this issue, but they did not know how to access it¹. Similarly it was<br />

clear that some employees are more computer-literate than others, and those with higher levels of computerliteracy<br />

would be happy to utilise these skills to help others throughout the organisation ².<br />

Indicative Intervention Suggestion¹: “Target training for different needs. E.g. some<br />

literate whereas others aren’t. therefore target increased training for those who need it most”.<br />

Indicative Intervention Suggestion²: “IT champions – train some people up to a certain level<br />

to disseminate this training down to other people”.<br />
