Table 24 shows the combined results of the interview data collection stage, with the major and subordinate<br />

themes listed in terms of the number of participants who mentioned them. It is important to note however that<br />

this quantification is solely for comparison and aesthetic purposes, and does not place more importance of one<br />

theme over another. From the analysis however these are the themes which were most important to participants<br />

and it is these that are presented in the table and text above. The themes in the tables represent the verbatim<br />

statements and explanatory narratives as above, taking into account individual experiences of the phenomena<br />

under consideration.
