Leech and Onwuegbuzie (2009) conducted a content analysis of a number of mixed methods design studies,<br />

with results suggesting that each of these designs can be conceptualised and differentiated due to three separate<br />

dimensions: mixing (partially or fully mixed), time (concurrent or sequential) and emphasis (equal or dominant<br />

status given to either qualitative or quantitative data). In conducting the content analysis the authors published a
