b) in kartlian, Kakhetian, Her, Upper Imeretian and Megrelian dialects<br />

the allom<strong>or</strong>ph -it of the Instrumental case marker may be extended<br />

by emphatic vowel i: ķib-it-i adian, modis toħis ĵal -it-i, čaiara perħ -<br />

it-i (Kartlian). -yt-i occurs in noun roots ending with a vowel in Her: daambes<br />

cħeni zua-yt-i, ċasul šina-yt-i "s/he has left home"... ķoč-it(i) "by man", ķučħit(i)<br />

"by foot". (Megrelian)...<br />

In Chan the vowel e is present instead of i: ķoči-t-e(n) "by man",<br />

ķučħe-t-e(n) "by foot", arguni-t-e(n) "by axe"...<br />

In Chan -t occurs in all nouns: injili kvat ipšu «filled [it] with pearls<br />

[<strong>f<strong>or</strong></strong> himself]«; ħoji do sapanit ħonumţes «they plowed by ox and ploughshare«<br />

(G. Kartozia, 2005, p. 84).<br />

c) in Her -it/-yt > -i/-y: urmi vzidavt "we are carryin by an oxcart"<br />

... ķri zeday "over the do<strong>or</strong>"...<br />

Adverbial case markers in dialects are represented by the same<br />

allomprphs as in the literary language. -ad/-d allom<strong>or</strong>phs are used in<br />

almost all dialects.<br />

The only suffix -d is used as an Adverbial case marker <strong>f<strong>or</strong></strong> all<br />

types of nouns in Svan dialects:<br />

bäč-d "([adverbial] a stone", dīna-d "[adverbial] a virgin", māra-d "[adverbial]<br />

a man" (V. Topuria, 1944, pp. 342-343; G. Klimov, 1962, pp. 80-84). d
