regional language: a language of autochthonous population in a particular<br />

region of a state that, at the same time, is a maj<strong>or</strong>ity in the very<br />

min<strong>or</strong>ity language – a language in a particular region of a state spoken<br />

by the hist<strong>or</strong>ical population that has currently become a min<strong>or</strong>ity in<br />

the very region. Cf.: min<strong>or</strong>ity languages (and dialects) - regional<br />

and min<strong>or</strong>ity languages in Europe: that is a language of ethnic/national<br />

min<strong>or</strong>ities – a language of non-principal population of a<br />
